His career included serving as program director for WLHT, WTRV, WFGR, and WNWZ (LaMaquina) and afternoon air personality for WLHT 95.7. He also worked in New York, Chicago (WLS), Detroit (WDRQ, WNIC and WMXD), Washington D.C., and Oklahoma City. He also served as primary voice for WKBD-TV50 in Detroit and KOKH TV25 in Oklahoma City.
A Vietnam veteran, he received the Bronze Star for gallantry in action. His broadcasting awards included National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award Station of the Year (1998) and Billboard Finalist Magazine Program Director and Air Personality of the Year.
