In honor of #BlackMusicMonth &amp; our 30<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary, we are remembering our past awards dinners and honorees.\u00a0 Let us know what you remember! We didn\u2019t have a dinner in 2004 &amp; made some changes in 2005. Hurricane Katrina roared through Louisiana in August and our beloved Treasurer, Barbara Lewis, lost everything in the flood. Thanx to the Living Legends Foundation, she was able to get some funds to help her family rebuild. That also meant that the records and memorabilia from the previous awards were destroyed as well but Barbara and C.C. Evans were able to restore the records.<\/p>\n<p>The Young Black Programmers Coalition stopped hosting their conference so we slid into their November slot and hosted the awards at the Westin Hotel Times Square in NYC.\u00a0 Ken Wilson was the Dinner Chairman and Heather Headley was the evening\u2019s entertainment.
