It didn\u2019t take long for Bryant \u201cBee Violator\u201d Prescott to come into his own.\u00a0 After graduating from Stevenson High School and obtaining his first job with the Bronx Park and Recreations Department, Prescott, a New York native, set his sights on the music industry.\u00a0 In short order, Bryant had reinvented himself and taken on the legendary alter ego, \u201cBee Violator\/Big B.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bryant would go on to work with legends Kool DJ Red Alert, his cousin, music executive Chris Lighty, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers, and more of New York\u2019s personalities.\u00a0\u00a0In 1988, Bryant and his family moved to Atlanta so he could broaden his career in the music industry.\u00a0\u00a0Once there, Bee worked with various radio stations and became singer Usher Raymond\u2019s road manager.\u00a0\u00a0He also worked for Ichiban, Arista, LaFace, and So So Def Recordings handling street teams.\u00a0 Later, Bryant co-founded a lifestyle marketing company with his friend Brigette Gary called B-N-C Productions.<\/p>\n
Bryant \u201cBee Violator\u201d Prescott died January 9, 2020, at the age of 51.\u00a0 Legends are defined by their work and how it impacts the culture.\u00a0 We remember Bryant \u201cBee Violator\u201d Prescott\u00a0so others don\u2019t forget.<\/p>\n
