Valeisha formerly served as the Co-President of the Recording Academy, Global Head of Inclusion for Google, Inc., Deputy Director of Public Affairs for International Trade in the Obama Administration and as the National Youth Vote Director for Obama for America, helping to deliver one of the highest youth voter turnouts in American history.
Valeisha has been recognized by FORBES, EBONY Power100, Billboard, ELLE Magazine’s top 25 leading women, ESSENCE and others. She is also a mom, graduate of Clark Atlanta University, author and co-founder of the Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN). She also currently serves as the Honorary Chair of the GRAMMYs Black Music Collective and the founder of SEED, a multimedia storytelling platform.
