Greg has hosted his syndicated “Greg Mack Show” since 2012 and a live show on Audacy’s 94.7 The WAVE in Los Angeles since 2014. He is credited for creating what is known today as the CHR Rhythmic Format in 1983 on the world’s first radio station to program Rap music 24/7, 1580 KDAY. Portrayed in the blockbuster movie, “Straight Outta Compton” and numerous documentaries that have aired on multiple tv networks, Greg has helped to launch the careers of superstar artists Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Ice Cube, MC Hammer, Queen Latifah, LL Cool J and numerous others.
His stellar career includes CEO of MacKNificent Broadcasting, LLC and Pro-Active Communications; General Manager/Program Director/Partner at S.T.E.G. Broadcasting; COO/GM/PD at KKPW, Fresno; Partner/GM/PD at KOJJ, Porterville; On air host & MD at KJLH LA; On air host/APD/MD at KMJQ Houston and KEYS/KZFM Corpus Christi and MD/Public Affairs Director at KTSA/KTFM San Antonio.
He recently received the prestigious Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the Biden Administration for his over 4000 hours of Community Service.
