With over 25 years & more than 300 credits as a distinguished talent executive, consultant & producer, Deborah has built an impressive career that showcases her creativity, reliability & humility. Deborah has emerged as a leading specialist in talent & production, particularly in televised award ceremonies & music specials, including the BET Awards, where she has played a pivotal role since 2000, collaborating with John Cossette Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment.
Her extensive experience includes the ESPY Awards, Tony Awards, Radio Music Awards, BET Experience, BET’s Rip the Runway, NAACP Image Awards, Black Girls Rock! Awards, NFL Super Bowl Gospel Celebration Music Event, and UNCF: An Evening of Stars. Her work as the talent producer for the 2016 White House music special, *BET Presents Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration*, highlights her ability to work at the highest levels of the industry.
During the pandemic, Deborah served as the talent booker for the first-ever virtual broadcast of any award show, the annual BET Awards. She effectively coordinated with production teams and artists nationwide to ensure the successful execution of the event. Additionally, she took on co-producer and segment producer roles for streamed projects such as *SavingOurselves for BET* and *#FightLyme with Avril & Friends*.
Outside of her professional work, Deborah is dedicated to community service, actively supporting organizations like the Nancy Davis Annual Race to Erase Multiple Sclerosis Gala and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of California. She is a valued member of the White House Entertainment Consortium Collaborative Outreach Program (ECCO) and the Alliance for Women in Media (AWMF).
