I have worked with Frank Sinatra, Jon Secada, D’angelo and a host of others. I held various positions at SBK/EMI Records, starting out as an intern in the A&R department.
After EMI Records shut down, I went to work in artist management. I worked with Marcy Playground and Melky Sedeck ( Wyclef’s brother & sister). I did this for a couple of years and then went to work for Larry Flint with CODE magazine, a style magazine for men of color.
Today I have my own production company with my husband, Run & Shoot Filmworks, inc. We are the founders of the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival and The Color of Conversation Film Series at AFI Silver, which is coming up June 28th – July 1st in Silver Spring, MD.
There were too many inspirational artists to list but I really enjoyed the process of “Duets 1 & 2” with Frank Sinatra. I learned a lot about how deals get done as well as the process of putting an album together, something I will never forget.
