LLF Celebrate Board Members – Mark Hill

Advisory Board member, Mark Hill is the owner of Mark Hill Creative, a multi-faceted company specializing in digital content design, content marketing and strategy.  He’s also one of the Executive Producers and Technical Producer of our Music Day: A Verified Hit podcast/vodcast.  We count on him for advice on visual and marketing trends.

Mark is a musician, starting at 14 as a church-drummer.  The late Dr. Mattie Moss-Clark, the mother of The Clark Sisters asked him to play for her when she traveled to his hometown, Cleveland, Ohio. His talent led him to join Visions, a local band who shared stages globally with several R&B groups and bands from the area that include The O’Jays, The Dazz Band, Levert, Zapp featuring Roger Troutman and several others.

After 10 years of living on the road, Mark attended UCLA and interned at Giant Records and Interscope Records before joining Urban Network, where he was the National Retail Editor. It was there where he discovered his passion for digital media and marketing and developed the in-store music video reel, a compilation of music videos of various artists. After Urban Network, Hill began producing music video reels and filming behind the scenes events for several record labels, record distribution companies and music-based conferences. Some of Hill’s clients include: Rap A Lot Records, Universal Music Distribution, City of Hope, Musexpo Conference, the First Lady of Motown, Claudette Robinson, Jamie Foxx, Ron Isley and The Living Legends Foundation.
