BBM Profile: Dina R. Andrews

As a music industry executive, I advised, managed, and negotiated deals for some of the industry’s most successful contemporary recording artists, songwriters & producers, ranging from hit songwriter/producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis to British Producer Derek Bramble, Paul Jackson, Jr, Percy Bady and was General Manager for “Pebbles” PT/Entertainment’s Girl Group “TLC”, to name a few.

My work has resulted in the placement of over 150 original songs with major record companies generating in excess of $100 million in gross revenue collectively.  I worked with or partnered with companies such as SOLAR, Tabu, BMG, Sony, Capitol, Elektra, Uptown, EMI, Gospo-Centric and Warner Bros. and was named as an African American History Maker in the field of Entertainment.

After years of living in Atlanta, I was recruited back to LA and now serve as the Sr. Field Deputy for Councilmember Marqueece Harris-Dawson in Los Angeles’s 8th District.  I’m responsible for the West Area of the district, handling casework, facilitation, event planning, logistics, and entertainment-related Council Presentations on behalf of the Councilmember.

There’s a gospel song “How I Live” that’s a constant reminder of taking the high road.  How we live and treat others is everything.
